Fall Seasonal

Flowing with Grief Workshop

In Person and Virtual

Monday, September 21st

(Fall Equinox)

730pm-830pm ET

In Person Location: The Eyrie

206 E Seneca St, Manlius NY 13104

Virtual on Zoom

This yoga and movement practice is designed to support you as you consciously engage with your grief. Together we move through the process of becoming aware of your grief and how it shows up in the body, expressing and witnessing your grief feelings, connecting with your loved ones who have died, and surrendering to the whole of your grief experience.

As opposed to being focused on strength and flexibility, this practice centers the emotional body and the embodied experiences that the body holds.

The intention behind the practice is to attune to our bodies, our grief, and the season we are in, thus connecting us to our hearts, our spirits, and our people who have died.

  • No previous yoga experience is required to participate in this practice as it can be done in a chair or on a yoga mat.

  • Participants are invited to bring whatever props will make them most comfortable ie. mat, blanket, pillow/bolster, blocks etc. Loose fitted clothing you can move in is suggested.

Creative Grief Tending Retreat

OMEGA Institute

October 18th- 22nd

Join Kelsey and Barri Leiner Grant of The Memory Circle for a creative exploration of grief at the beautiful OMEGA Institute this fall.

Grief lives in the body—and sometimes words only arrive after we've paused to feel where it aches, pulses, or softens. In this gathering, you are guided through gentle movement, breathing techniques, meditation, and reflective writing prompts to help you access both embodied awareness and creative expression.

Together, we ground in the body, write from the heart, and tend to what is asking to be witnessed. This is not about fixing grief, but about befriending it—allowing space for release, reflection, and renewal.

This is for grievers who are at least six months from their most significant loss and who are looking to process their grief through a creatively expressive lens.
